Our heart for short-term missions is to see people activated in the kingdom of heaven and be able to go out and share the gospel, bless and activate local churches, serve the poor and bring the love of Jesus to people.
A short-term mission trip with Kaleo can include ministry at church, evangelizing on the streets, teaching English, building, painting, gardening, dramas for kids, cooking, or providing hospitality. All of these are valuable ways to serve and it is crucial to come with a glad and joyful heart, ready for anything! Our goal is that short-term mission teams come and bring a fresh wind to our local team and reinforce the work of the gospel alongside us.
If you are interested in coming to visit or bringing a team please contact admin@kaleointernational.org for an application form. The maximum amount of time for a short-term trip is two weeks. The number of people per trip is very dependent on the season at the base you are hoping to visit and which base you are hoping to visit - when you contact us we will discuss details such as dates and team size.
Application: Is for individuals or a team leader. You will need to send in a completed application form, updated CV, and pastoral reference. An application form will be sent to you when you contact admin@kaleointernational.org. Review and Acceptance: Once all of the required information has been received, we will carefully review your application. We will take into consideration your reasons for applying, your skill sets, the needs of a base, and the size of your team (if you are bringing one). During this time we may call you for a phone interview.
Raise Support: The location and length of your outreach will affect the required cost of your short-term mission trip. Once accepted, we will be able to inform you of the cost and payment dates. There are many ways to raise support and we will believe with you in faith that the funds you need will be raised. We look forward to hearing from you!
